♥Exertion♥

“To be loved” and “to be in love” are two things that seem to be almost equal yet totally different. Many of us think that “to be loved” is just like “to be in love”, it may sound similar because both are accompanied by the word love, thus, emotions and passion is present and being exerted. But reality is , this thinking of us are just thoughts and beliefs because those two things are actually not in the same wavelength they are on different tracks. It is because when we talk about “being loved” it is somewhat an experience of special care and appreciation of someone to you. On the other side, “ to be in love” is being talked about , scenario changes, it would now be you who will have that incredible feeling towards someone. “ To be loved” and “ to be in love” may have similarities and differences but one thing is for sure the common denominator of the two is the exertion of a very special feeling called “love”.

In the Name of Rain

Rain, rain go away! Rainy days are coming our way. Are your gears ready for action? Raincoats and umbrellas are probably our so called “best friends” whatever the sky cries so hard, aren’t they? These rain gears come in different shapes and sizes. From gears with pale to vibrant colored ones and huge to small sized head umbrellas, name them, they are made available in various department stores. Raincoats are very much important in protecting the person from getting wet. Statistically speaking, coats are worn by men. The best example is when a traffic enforcer manages the street traffic during a heavy rain. Thus, they find coats as convenient gears at work especially when it is raining cats and dogs. On the same way, umbrellas are also used similarly. Yet, umbrellas are the gears in need to be manipulated first to make use of them. In addition, umbrellas have a dual purpose. Aside from its usage as protective gear against the rain, they can also function as gears from too much sunlight. All in all, raincoats and umbrellas truly are the gears we must have from time to time. Hence, better not to forget to bring them with you.

♥♪Affection (Infatuation and Love) ♥♪

Every person in this world can experience the special sensation almost all teenagers talk about. these crushes, girlfriend, boyfriend, special someone, etc. The things which I cannot understand fully. A feeling they said as love, while others insists that it is only infatuation and simply admiration. Revelations and reactions that makes things more complicated for me to understand. This infatuation, for me, is a special feeling all of us feel towards a person, animal or an object which he/she admires. This affection is only a temporary feeling we usually feel when we can discover new things or people that we can see everyday. For me, it is also a feeling that will subside as time goes by yet, a memorable experience that can be treasured for a lifetime. On the other hand, love, a word that can be said easily but so hard to keep. We need much time to internalize its true meaning and its nature before we can conclude that we love an objector a person. The two topics are different from each other. Loyalty, endless feeling and great admiration varies within this two. But one thing is for sure, this deals with a person's emotional and mental capabilities to decide and believe in their selves and others.

Man and Woman

Man and Woman are greatly compared on the late centuries. They underestimate woman and highly respect man. They disregard the abilities of capabilities of a woman. They say, man are stronger, has more capabilities and is likely to depend on than the woman. On my opinion, woman is also strong. They have amazing strength, they can handle trouble and carry heavy burdens, and the woman is strong, mentally and emotionally. The only sad part is that the others forget what or how she is worth and important. Both man and woman should have equal rights because they have their own capabilities and strengths that make them special, not only for themselves but also for the community's success.
Man, by nature is strong physically and mentally. They have great talents or abilities that makes them superior over the woman. Man excel, not only on physical activities but also in brain-teasing activities. They are born-leaders. They handle things differently than the woman.
Woman, is much stronger emotionally and mentally than the man. They know how to carry heavy burdens and woman also knows how to find solutions on different situation. They even smile when they aren't happy and cry's when they laugh. And their love is unconditional.
Man and Woman is created with a purpose. Each of them has their own abilities and strengths than makes them important. They were created not only for themselves to succeed but also for the success of the nation on the future. Woman, in the Bible did not came from the feet to be step on, they are not also came from the head to be superior. But they are made from the part of the ribs of the man for them to support and love each other. This makes them equal not only in the eyes of the Lord but they should also be equal in the eyes of mankind.

Past, Present and Future

My elementary life was so full of excitement and challenges. I've gained a lot of knowledge, awards and most especially, I've gained a lot of friends. On the other hand, currently, in my high school years, the excitement and challenges were not ordinary as what it seemed before. It became more challenging and the activities are accompanied not just by excitement but with extreme pressure. However, even if it's that tiring facing the school everyday, it's worth it. I have collected a lot more friends than before and is still collecting anyhow. I'm still gathering awards and at the same time, learning much more things better than before.

The bridge was very long and troubled for me to take back then but, since I was able to reach the other edge, then, I was able to fight along the struggles which came my way. Thus, another bridge is waiting for me. New obstacles I will encounter.

Evidences on the possible existence of life in Mars

Scientists have long pondered about the possible existence of life in Mars. As senior high students in our institution, we consider Mars as the most fascinating planet now because of its widespread speculations of life overheard in the news and written in the paper. As we were researching on evidences, we have encountered a lot of awesome features and information about Mars.

In the mid-19 century, astronomers knew that Mars had certain similarities to earth. Observations led to increase in speculation that that Mars may be inhabited by life. In the mid-1970’s, Viking probes were put to mission to carry out experiment to detect microorganisms in Martian soil. Mars Global Surveyor, a lander, confirmed that Mars no longer possessed global magnetic field, allowing lie-threatening radiation of cosmic rays to reach the planets surface. Thus, helped the solar wind blow away much of Mars’ atmosphere over the years. A Mars’ meteorite (ALH84001) has grown result which concluded that it contained fossilized microbes. NASA, in March in the year 2004, announced that “Opportunity” had discovered evidence that Mars was a wet planet in the ancient past. In the same year and time, Mars Express reported detecting methane in Marsian atmosphere. Scientists proposed a process called “serpentinization” that could explain the presence of methane. In December 2006, NASA showed images suggesting that water is coursed in cater and even deposits of sediments are to be found. In May 2007, Spirit, the Mars rover, reportedly discovered the presence of silica showcasing that the past environment of the planet would have been perfect for microbial life.

Recently, NASA’s Phoenix Mars lander is now out on its mission to pursue water in the planet. The Phoenix will scan the Martian atmosphere up to 20 km in altitude. The goal of the spacecraft is to check whether subsurface samples of Martian soil hold carbon-containing compounds that are essential ingredients of life.

Advancement of Technology in Mars

Mars. Is it capable of keeping inhabitants in its surface? Will it allow anyone to set foot on it?

Questions which aroused the curiosity of scientist which lead them to search answers for these questions. When finding answers to these questions, modern facilities are needed. For this time, technology is fast developing. Thus, it gives help for researching the possibility of conquering Mars. Researchers are now purposely working hard for us to find more evidences of supporting elements on Mars.
An experimental greenhouse on Devon Island, Nuhavut, Canada was donated by SpaceRef Interactive Inc. It supports the conducted research under the auspices of Haughton Mars Project. This greenhouse project was installed on Summer 2002. not only SpaceRef Interactive Inc. sponsored the said project. It is also provided by Canadian Space Agency, University of Guelph, and Simon Fraser University.
The money spent and sponsored by the said establishments are not wasted. The greenhouse project is used as a tool for communication systems, control and sensors to test if the greenhouse can be operated with or without the absence of human. It has also 1 objective, to test the possibility of human beings on Mars. It will support scientific research which is relevant in finding unique ways or Earth- like ways to support life on Mars. With fidelity and complexity.
The greenhouse project is not the only project which is made for exploring Mars. There are many new technologies that made Mars exploration possible. These are the PROPULSION which provide energy to help scientist conduct long term studies. POWER for providing more efficient and increased electricity to the spacecraft and its subsystems. TELECOMMUNICATIONS for sending commands and receiving data faster and in greater amounts. AVIONICS, electronics for operating the spacecraft and its subsystems. SOFTWARE ENGINEERING for providing the computing and commands necessary to operate the spacecraft and its subsystems.
These researches are not the only tools to explore Mars. Maybe one day, these scientific instruments may fade and can be changed by even more powerful instruments. We cannot know the future because we are not psycho's and specially we are not God to dictate the future. Hopefully, after the researches, we can conclude that it is safe to live on Mars and it can sustain our lives. But it is always the best to SAVE OUR MOTHER EARTH EARLIER, so that we do not spend much for researching Mars and we will not worry were to find refuge when MOTHER EARTH surrenders.
